The DBS Music Department, DBS Parent-Teacher Association, DBS Alumni Parents’ Association, Diocesan School Old Boys’ Association and DBS Fund Raising Committee proudly present to you – Homecoming Concert 2012.
This year, the Homecoming Concert will truly be a “Homecoming” event as the concerts will be held at the new Auditorium at DBS. This annual event is part of the wonderful heritage of our school and is for several purposes: (i) to honour the outstanding achievements in music of our boys, (ii) a gathering of the Diocesan extended family of students, old boys, parents and friends and (iii) to raise fund for the School Improvement Projects. Concert I and III will feature musicians of both primary and secondary school choirs and ensembles as well as participation from old boys. Concert II (Saturday morning 30th June) will feature performance predominantly by the Primary Division.

家長也敬師活動——給老師送上一個〝超讚〞的下午
Parents Also Appreciate Teachers 2012
看到孩子愉快地投入校園生活，就可以想像得到能夠在拔萃男書院這個大家庭接受教育是何等幸福美好。而我們深明在它的背後，實有賴一整隊既盡責又無私奉獻的老師和職員所付出的努力。教育在今天已不限於課本知識的傳授及德育的培養，老師更需要多才多藝，給予孩子們無比的愛心以作多方面的啓發。
為了表達家長們對各位勞苦功高的老師的感激、肯定、鼓勵與讚賞，藉着家庭與學校合作事宜委員會一年一度的「家長也敬師」活動，家教會將於五月三日為老師及職員炮製一個聲、色、味俱全的活動。內容包括送上觸動心靈的敬師感言 ——「敬師超讚身歷聲」、家長巧手製作的紀念品和「私房」美食，希望各級家長踴躍支持及參與。
各家長可選擇加入籌備小組錄製感言、製作紀念品、私房美食、包裝紀念品或抽空出席當日敬師活動，大家同樂共讚！請填妥以下回條，於二零一二年三月十六日前，交回本校圖書館陳敏芝老師收。

Dear Friends of DBS,
SYDNEY JAMES LOWCOCK (former headmaster of Diocesan Boys' School), loving brother of ALWIN, brother-in-law of AIDA, uncle of BRIAN, SANDRA, KEITH, STEVEN, SUSAN, ANTHONY, BARBARA, PHILIP, PATRICIA and ANDREW, passed away peacefully on 26th January, 2012.

Assemble Time and Venue on 5 Feb, 2012
This year we are joining the 10km 1 in the Hong Kong Marathon which will start at 6:00a.m. on that day. As previous years, we will be assembling at the Causeway Bay Kai Fong Welfare Association, located at Hing Fat Street next to Tin Hau MTR Station Exit A2 . Our helpers, including Parents, Old Boys, Janitors and Students will be ready at 4:30am there to help take records, handle runners' luggage, take photos etc., making our runners enjoy the Run with no burden at all.
