Assemble Time and Venue on 5 Feb, 2012

This year we are joining the 10km 1 in the Hong Kong Marathon which will start at 6:00a.m. on that day. As previous years, we will be assembling at the Causeway Bay Kai Fong Welfare Association, located at Hing Fat Street next to Tin Hau MTR Station Exit A2 . Our helpers, including Parents, Old Boys, Janitors and Students will be ready at 4:30am there to help take records, handle runners' luggage, take photos etc., making our runners enjoy the Run with no burden at all.

The School Committee announced today (12-Jan-2012) that Ronnie Cheng (class of 83) is the new Headmaster of DBS!

Parents’ Sharing Session on 14 Jan 2012

To enhance parent – PTA communications, we have organized a sharing session aimed at providing a platform for parents to exchange their views, to share their experience in parenting, and to work together towards the improvement of academic results and social lives of the boys. This year, we have divided the session into 2 parts: 

1.      IB and NSS Curriculum 
We have invited Mr. Chan Hong (past PTA Chairman) current member of Education Development Bureau, and Mr. Charles Wu of the IB Division to share with us insights on the new NSS and IB curriculum.

2.      Parents Forum
A parents only session to discuss any problems encountered or issues faced. The PTA will facilitate the session and parents can share in their experiences. We will also channel any relevant issues raised back to the school administration.

Many thank for all the Exco Members, the parent helpers, the donors and sponors. Out Garden Fete was once again another resounding success.

This year we had the Fete Lunch with over 1200 attendees, the Fete stalls in the hall, and two locations for Inda's cafe! Further photos of the fun and exciting can be found in the links below.

Dr. Lily Sui-fong Sun is the granddaughter of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, she has traveled across the globe and conducted over 900 talks about the philosophies and thoughts of her grandfather.

DBSPTA with DSOBA is honored to have Dr. Lily Sun with us on 15th October 2011. Dr. Sun started collecting and organizing the photographs and calligraphy works of her grandfather since she was 9 year old, and has devoted many years investigating into his principles and theories. In the year 2004, Dr. Sun visited DBS and left with us the 4-worded Chinese phrase representing “Super-eminence”, which is now displayed outside the Headmaster’s office.
